Vote “No” on the Proposed Constitutional Amendment.
The question on the ballot will ask voters if the Constitution should be changed to require a three-fifths majority vote to increase a pension benefit in a public pension or retirement system. On October 3rd, delegates at the 40th Illinois AFL-CIO Constitutional Convention unanimously adopted a resolution opposing this proposed amendment.
